We can’t have parents and kids deciding what educational path works for them. The dems only care about elections and money, not our kids.  My only issue with charter schools is that they are for-profit, and receiving public funds. I don't feel elementary, middle and high school should be corporate profit centers. I think they should be non-profit. But, there are some areas where public schools are failing the Cow flower mooey and bright shirt (NC for example), where charters schools are the best option. It depends on the situation I guess.  Blacks overwhelmingly support charter schools and the opportunity that school vouchers give for the futures of underserved black school kids in the school systems they are in today. So the decision is in their hands keep voting for teacher unions controlled Democrats or break the cycle. Don't EVER believe the teachers union is anything other than a huge donor to and supporter of the democrat party.
